The adviser details in this area are updated daily from OISC
records. Our website only lists advisers who are regulated by the OISC.
Other advisers who provide immigration advice and services, such as practising
solicitors, barristers and legal executives, will therefore not be found
using the adviser finder.
Registered Advisers are mainly private sector For Profit organisations.
They will charge for their advice or services. Any charge may be through
fees directly billed for the Immigration advice or Immigration services
provided, the fees may also be charged as part of a larger package. Some
Registered organisations may be Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS)
organisations including charities and local authorities that only charge
in specific circumstances agreed with the OISC.
Exempt Advisers are generally Not For Profit Voluntary & Community
Sector (VCS) organisations that do not charge for the advice or services
they provide. Such organisations range from some well known charities
to small community based organisations. Some of these VCS organisations
may provide publicly funded advice or services.
